§ Mr. NeedhamECGD is willing to consider applications for insurance of United Kingdom investments in Vietnam. Medium-term export credit cover has not been available since the early 1980s when Vietnam defaulted on her trade debts, giving rise to claims on ECGD which remain unrecovered. The availability of further cover will be dependent upon ECGD's assessment of the risks arid payment performance.
