§ Mr. Peter LloydThe latest available information is for 30 June 1992 when there were 128 life sentence prisoners aged 60 or more in prison service establishments in England and Wales, of whom 16 were aged 70 or more and one of these was aged over 80. Prison inmates in Scotland and Northern Ireland are the responsibility of my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Scotland and my right hon. and learned Friend the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland, respectively.
