To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland how many quasi-autonomous non-governmental bodies existed in Northern Ireland(a) in 1991, (b) in 1992 and (c) at present.

In 1991 and 1992 there were 121 non-departmental public bodies in Northern Ireland and this figure remains unchanged.
