HC Deb 18 February 1993 vol 219 c331W
24. Mr. Enright

To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland what representations he has received on proposed changes in education.

Mr. Hanky

Representations have been made by the education and library boards, school boards of governers, teachers and their representatives and some parents. I have also met a number of groups on reforms-related matters. They have covered a wide range of issues related to the reforms, but have centered mainly on the pressures on teachers and schools resulting from the curriculum and assessment changes and I have taken measures where necessary to ease the pressures.
