§ Mr. Henderson
To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment when the next uniform business rate revaluation is due to take place.

§ Mr. Robin Squire
New rating lists will be compiled on 1 April 1995 based on 1 April 1993 values.

§ Mr. Henderson
To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment what was the sum paid by British Coal in uniform business rates for 1992(a) in total and (b) in respect of the 31 pits due for closure.

Information on the rates paid by British Coal is not held centrally by the Government.
