To ask the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster what was the total cost, including an estimate for the time of civil servants involved, of the conference on market testing held at the Queen Elizabeth II conference centre on 18 January.

The total cost of this conference was met by the subscription fees paid by delegates. The cost of the time of the civil servants involved cannot be identified separately: discussions with private sector companies are an integral part of their work to take forward market testing.
