§ Mr. EggarThe prototype fast reactor at Dounreay is due to cease operation on 31 March 1994, after which decommissioning operations will commence. Other decomissioning and radioactive waste management operations already under way will continue for some time to come. Dounreay is also the base of the Atomic Energy Authority's fuel services business. Future commercial activities there are a matter for the AEA.
