To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what representations he has received regarding the future of the Agricultural Training Board in Wales; and if he will make a statement.

In response to the consultation document on the future status and operation of the Agricultural Training Board issued on 25 September 1992, representations were received from 80 organisations and individuals in Wales. Ministers expect to be in a position to make a statement on the future of the board later this month.
