HC Deb 11 February 1993 vol 218 c719W
Mr. Dover

To ask the President of the Board of Trade if he will take the necessary action to ensure that all designs and patents for the Leyland DAF product lines currently operating within the United Kingdom form part of the assets being handled by the receiver appointed for these operations.

Mr. Sainsbury

[holding answer 9 February 1993]: All drawings and designs which are at the premises of the United Kingdom companies in receivership are under the day-to-day control of the receivers and are being examined with a view to ensuring that a complete set is available in respect of current products. The receivers' solicitors have been instructed to advise them upon the ownership of intellectual property used in the companies and are currently assessing the position.
