§ Mrs. LaitTo ask the Secretary of State for Health if she will make it her policy in coming to decisions in the Tomlinson proposals to establish schemes under which medical and nursing staff in London hospitals can be redeployed to(a) acute services outside London and (b) primary and community care services in London.
§ Dr. MawhinneyWe intend to announce our proposals for the future of the health service in London shortly. This statement will make clear the Government's response to Tomlinson's proposals and will set out how we wish to see the national health service in London evolve and improve.
