To ask the Secretary of State for Wales what was the level of construction in Wales in each quarter of 1992.

The Welsh index of construction is available for the first three quarters of 1992. Taking the average quarterly output in 1985 to be 100, the levels were 143.1, 141.3 and 136.1 in the first three quarters of 1992 respectively.
