§ The Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State, Department of Social Security (Lord Henley)The independent committee, set up under the chairmanship of Professor Goode to undertake a review of the legal and regulatory framework surrounding occupational pensions, is due to report in the summer. It would be premature for the Government to consider any changes until the committee's recommendations are assessed. Information on transfer values can currently be obtained at the request of the pension scheme member.
