asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether, in line with their manifesto commitment, they intend to broaden choice in pension provision by removing the technical obstacles that prevent employees while in the employ of a company from placing their transfer value into personal pension provision.

The Government are committed to encouraging choice and flexibility in pension provision. We are currently considering how best to achieve this in relation to personal pensions.
