To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food how large current intervention stocks of cereal and butter are within the European Community; and what were the levels in each of the past 15 years.

Tables showing current levels of all produce held in intervention within the European Community are deposited in the Library of the House at monthly intervals, most recently on 29 January. The information currently held in the House Library goes back to January 1985; it is not possible to provide earlier figures within the time available.
