§ Mr. Alton
To ask the Secretary of State for Health if she will consider introducing legislation to apply the principles of the Osteopaths Bill to state-registered chiropodists and physiotherapists.

§ Dr. Mawhinney
We have no plans to do so. The state-registered chiropody and physiotherapy professions are already regulated under the Professions Supplementary to Medicine Act 1960.

§ Mr. Alton
To ask the Secretary of State for Health if she will consider the preparation of a factsheet on chiropody in the health service "Careers" series.

§ Mr. Sackville
The need for national health service careers information for a range of occupational groups is regularly reviewed.
