(3) if he will make a statement on the export of five combat aircraft from the United Kingdom to Zimbabwe as listed in the United Nations register of conventional arms;
(4) if he will make a statement on the export of one armoured combat vehicle from the United Kingdom to Papua New Guinea as listed in the United Nations register of conventional arms;
(5) if he will make a statement on the export of 10 combat aircraft from the United Kingdom to the Republic of Korea as listed in the United Nations register of conventional arms;
(6) if he will make a statement on the export of 25 battle tanks from the United Kingdom to Nigeria as listed in the United Nations register of conventional arms;
(7) if he will make a statement on the export of four large-calibre artillery systems from the United Kingdom to Brazil as listed in the United Nations register of conventional arms;
(8) if he will make a statement on the export of missiles and missile launchers from the United Kingdom to the United Arab Emirates as listed in the United Nations register of conventional arms.
§ Mr. HanleyIn accordance with the requirements of the United Nations arms register, the United Kingdom has reported a number of defence equipment exports. However, it is not our practice to comment on the detail of individual defence export contracts.
§ Mr. CohenTo ask the Secretary of State for Defence if he will make a statement on the export of eight large-calibre artillery systems from the United Kingdom to Nepal as listed in the United Nations register of conventional arms; and for what reasons this appeared in the submissions by Nepal, but not that by the United Kingdom.
§ Mr. HanleyNo large-calibre artillery systems were transferred to Nepal in 1992.
