To ask the right hon. Member for Berwick-upon-Tweed, as representing the House of Commons Commission what is the annual amount paid by the House of Commons administration for the supply of police cover.

The estimate for the provision of security services to the House of Commons in the current financial year is £9.82 million—a figure which the hon. Member will find on page 7 of the Commission's annual report, published earlier this year.
