HC Deb 13 December 1993 vol 234 c461W
Mr. Tony Banks

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport what is his best estimate of the likely cost to London Underground of compensation sought by customers under the relevant citizen charters arising from the major breakdowns on the system from 24 November onwards.

Mr. Norris

London Underground currently estimates that the value of the claims made under their customer charter will be between £150,000 and £200,000.
