To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what representations she has received on the funding of the Government's agri-environment programme.

Many people urged me not to cut funding of our agri-environment programme and I have recently confirmed that we are holding to our plans to increase expenditure to over £70 million per annum by 1995–96.
