To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland when he last met the National Farmers Union to discuss current financial problems in Scottish agriculture.

I have regular meetings with the National Farmers Union of Scotland at which we discuss current issues and prospects for the fanning industry. The last such meeting took place on 13 October. My right hon. Friend last met the SNFU on 24 November.
