§ Mr. Llew SmithTo ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what consideration he has given to publishing(a) a full or (b) an abridged version of the chief of the intelligence services' annual report to the Prime Minister and the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs.
§ Mr. HurdThe Intelligence Bill provides for the Prime Minister to lay before Parliament annual reports by both the Intelligence Services Commissioner and the Intelligence Services Committee. We do not intend to publish the annual report of the chief of the Secret Intelligence Service.
