To ask the Secretary of State for Health what assistance she is giving to London NHS trust and district health authorities to help them resolve their debt problems.

As part of the overall resources required for the implementation of "Making London Better", transitional funds have been made available to support London hospitals who have lost contract income from purchasers and to meet the costs of staff redeployment or unavoidable redundancies.
