HC Deb 03 December 1993 vol 233 c793W
Mr. Harvey

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence what assessment he has made of the prospects of increasing the pilot flying training undertaken by the RAF in the United Kingdom for air forces of other countries.

Mr. Hanley

In line with normal policy, the provision of pilot flying training in the United Kingdom for air forces of overseas countries is dictated by the availability of surplus training capacity within the RAF. Opportunities presently exist for such training and potential customers have been informed accordingly.
