§ Mr. Michael HowardThe Home Secretary has three cars supplied by the Home Office. The average annual cost, inclusive of maintenance, is £98,000. Other Home Office Ministers use four cars supplied by the Government car service. In addition, the GCS supplies cars for the transport of ministerial dispatch boxes. The estimated cost of these cars for 1993–94 is £247,000.
