To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, when he expects to implement the remaining provisions of the Criminal Justice Act 1993.

The following miscellaneous provisions brought into force on 1 December by means of commencement order No. 3: sections 20 to 23, 34 and 35, 44 to 46, and 73.

A further announcement about the implementation of the remainder of the Act will be made in due course.
