What has been the average retail cost of a pint of (a) bitter, (b) lager and (c) stout by region in England and Wales for each year since 1982.

The available information derived from data used to compile the retail prices index is given in the following table. The table shows the average price in the United Kingdom for April of each year. Regional figures are not available, nor are average prices for stout.
