§ Sir Keith SpeedTo ask the President of the Board of Trade what plans he has to prevent individuals who have presided over the collapse of their companies, of which they have been directors, from setting up similar new businesses with similar customers having failed to honour the debts of their former companies.
§ Mr. Neil HamiltonThe insolvency legislation already provides that directors whose conduct shows that they are unfit to manage companies may be disqualified from holding office. I have no plans to change the legislation in this regard.
