To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer when he expects the next revaluation of commercial premises to be completed; and on what date the rental values will be based.

Mr. Nelson

The next revaluation of commercial premises will be completed to enable new rating lists to be compiled on 1 April 1995. Rental values will be based on a valuation date of 1 April 1993.
