§ Mr. PortilloThe Treasury conducts an annual survey of surplus land and dwellings owned by Government. This identifies vacant dwellings under the control of central Government Departments, executive agencies, the national health service, the Metropolitan police and local police authorities but excludes local authorities and non-departmental public bodies.
