To ask the Secretary of State for Defence if he will list those countries which possess a nuclear missile capable of striking Britain.

Within the Commonwealth of Independent States, Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Belarus have such missiles on their territories—these are centrally controlled. The only other country outside NATO with such a capacity is China.
