To ask the Secretary of State for Transport how many females are employed in the DVLC, Swansea.

At the end of March 1993 there were a total of 2,448 females employed in the DVLC, Swansea of whom 496 were part-time or job-sharing employees. This total represents just over 70 per cent. of the Swansea work force.
