asked Her Majesty's Government:

What progress is being made with the Know How Fund for central and eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union; and whether they will give details on specific projects so far approved this year for each eligible country.

Further to my noble friend, the Minister for Overseas Development's Written Answer of 29th June 1992 (col.WA 42), the Know How Fund is continuing well. The amount spent or committed has increased to £95 million to cover more than 650 projects. An updated list of the activities has been placed in the Libraries of both Houses.
