To ask the Secretary of State for Defence if he will publish in theOfficial Report the letter of reply to the hon. Member for Blaenau Gwent of 22 July in response to his written question on nuclear defence expenditure.

The text of my reply of 22 July was as followsI said I would write in answer to your question on 16 July about nuclear expenditure and 13 Figure of the Statement on the Defence Estimates 1992 (CM 1981). The figure shows in some detail how the Defence Budget is distributed to Top Level Budget Holders under the New Management Strategy. Expenditure on nuclear warhead testing and nuclear warhead design and development is included in the Chief of Defence Procurement's top level budget. A small amount is also included in the Chief Executive of the Defence Research Agency's top level budget.
