What responsibilities or functions, if any, the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster and his department have in Scotland.

The Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster's responsibilities and functions were set out earlier this year by my right honourable friend the Prime Minister in reply to a question from Mr. David Martin MP, (13 May 1992, Cols 104–. The Chancellor of the Duchy's department has subsequently become the Office of Public Service and Science and has taken on responsibility for Her Majesty's Stationery Office, the Central Office of Information, the Central Computer and Telecommunications Agency and the Chessington Computer Centre.

All the Chancellor of the Duchy's functions and responsibilities apply in Scotland.
