To ask the Secretary of State for Employment what is the current number of job vacancies in the east midlands.

On the seasonally adjusted basis, there were 6,000 unfilled vacancies registered at jobcentres 825W in the east midlands region, in October 1992. Jobcentre vacancies do not represent the total number of vacancies available.
