What privileges accorded to Commonwealth citizens by them are not accorded to citizens of other countries associated with the European Community under the Lomè Convention.
§ Baroness Chalker of WallaseyCertain privileges under Protocol 3 of the Lomè Convention which benefit persons participating in work relating to the application of the convention are extended to all eligible citizens from ACP countries.
None of the separate rights accorded by HMG to Commonwealth citizens is extended to non-Commonwealth citizens by the Lomé Convention.
