To ask the Secretary of State for Wales what are the results of the consultation on the role of the Welsh language development committee of the Welsh joint education committee.

Nearly 30 organisations and individuals responded to the consultation paper issued in August, representing a broad range of opinion. I will be announcing our conclusions very soon.
