To ask the Secretary of State for Health if she will publish a table showing, for men aged 65 years and over and women aged 60 years and over, the number of deaths from hypothermia in each region for each year since 1987.

1 The estimates for 1991 have been provisionally rebased using early 1991 census results. Those for 1987–90 are based upon 1981 census data, with allowance for subsequent births, deaths, and migration. They are not consistent with the 1991 estimates, and will be revised next year after final rebased 1991 estimates have been prepared using more complete 1991 census information.
