§ Mr. MorganTo ask the Secretary of State for Wales what proportion of the £75 million allocated to fulfil plans for local job creation in areas affected by pit closures has been requested by each of the training and enterprise councils covering Betws, Point of Ayr and Taff Merthyr collieries.
§ Mr. David HuntI have already announced that, over the next 18 months, I shall be making available up to £4.8 million for employment arid training measures in the areas affected. I am considering the action plans from the TECs involved and will announce my decisions on funding in due course.
