HC Deb 10 November 1992 vol 213 c744W
Mr. Redmond

To ask the Secretary of State for Social Security if he will list, for each local authority area in South Yorkshire, how many residential properties are currently owned by his Department; and if he will list, by location, those residential properties which are empty, giving the type of accommodation available, the length of time each property has been vacant, and its intended future use.

Miss Widdecombe

There is only one property on the Department's estate in the South Yorkshire area which could be described as residential property. This is the Woodhouse resettlement unit in Sheffield and it is fully occupied at the present time.
