§ Mr. Kenneth CarlisleEstimates of general Government expenditure on transport by English region for 1990–91 and 1991–92 are not yet available. However, estimates for the two preceeding years—1988–89 and 1989–90—-are given in appendix E of "Public Expenditue Analyses to 1994–95; Statistical Supplement to the 1991 Autumn Statement", Cm. 1920. It is not possible to break down the figures between revenue and capital expenditure.
