§ Mr. RifkindThe principal committees operating within the Ministry of Defence are listed in a publication entitled "The Ministry of Defence", a copy of which is available in the Library. The current edition is, however, out of date and is being revised. I have, therefore, also placed in the Library an updating paper listing the main MOD committees, their objectives and membership. A number of other committees exist in the Department or are convened from time to time as required, but these could be included in the paper only at disproportionate cost and effort.
