§ Mr. Lennox-BoydWe deplore the renewal of violence in Angola and fully support the efforts of the United Nations special representative there to consolidate the ceasefire arranged by the United Nations Secretary-General on the night of 1 November. We continue to work actively to this end in the United Nations and with EC partners and, in Angola, through our ambassador in Luanda.
