§ Mr. Charles WardleThe application was received on 22 January 1992. My hon. Friend the Member for Fareham (Mr. Lloyd) wrote to the hon. Member on 11 March explaining that inquiries were being made and that the compassionate circumstances would be taken into account when a decision was reached. The application was refused on 21 July; it was subsequently reconsidered but again refused on 10 September. I have agreed to meet the hon. Member to discuss this case on 5 November.
