§ Mr. JackDuring the period 1965 to 1991, five persons in England and Wales were convicted of murder and received a life sentence, were released on life licence and were then convicted of a second murder. In addition, one person was convicted of murder in England and Wales, released, and was then convicted of a second murder in Scotland.
