§ Mr. Peter LloydA total of 247 prisoners were on the waiting list for transfer to Grendon prison on 18 May 1992. The question of a second psychiatric prison is being considered in a review of services to meet the needs of mentally abnormal offenders, including women. The review is being carried out jointly by the Home Office and Department of Health. The report is expected to be received in September 1992.
