§ Mr. NewtonFollowing the announcement by my predecessor on 27 November 1991,Official Report, column 552, the Government submitted proposals to the House authorities for publishing replies from agency chief executives. The Administration Committee considered the Government's proposals in March and decided to seek further advice from the relevant House authorities. The Government hope that the House will take an early decision on the matter once the House Committees are reconstituted.
