§ Mr. YeoWe are taking forward a wide range of measures to encourage independent living in the community, and to minimise in-patient stays, consistent with high quality care. We are committed to the full implementation of community care from April 1993, and are putting in an extra £6 million starting in the current year to boost domiciliary care schemes and provide further help for carers.
