§ 26. Mr. AingerTo ask the Secretary of State for Wales what measures he is taking to relieve unemployment in the Pembroke constituency.
§ Mr. David HuntI established the west Wales task force and a strategy group, which I chair, in January. Since then I have announced the allocation of £4.7 million for a range of projects which will develop the industrial and economic infrastructure of west Wales. The task force has commissioned consultants to draw up a five year economic development plan for the area and this report, to which I will give urgent and careful consideration, will be available in the summer.
