§ Mr. ForthAppropriate learning support may be of great benefit in assisting many children with special needs to take up places in mainstream schools. The Department has recently sponsored a comprehensive research project, carried out by the National Foundation for Educational Research, into practical aspects of integration of children with special needs. The study is nearing completion, and when the final report is available I shall place a copy in the Library.
